My current residence, the ISP showed up not even two hours after I started moving in and unpacking. That was a very fast response. However, the line was complete crap, and in my first month I had like five outages, one of which lasted four days straight.

found out from southernsteed’s inkbunny page that phyll passed away earlier today. the two were close friends irl and southernsteed apparently got a call from phyll’s mom saying he got hit by a car. poor guy was only 21 years old. i’m a huge fan of his and he was the one who introduced me to southernsteed’s artwork so this hit me like a punch to the gut. RIP phyll; guys like you were too talented for this world.

Ok there is this one artist I forgot the name of that made a lot of Vinyl X Octavia stuff.
 
He made a bunch of comics with them (one where they meet for the first time and fall in love, one where Vinyl has to meet Octavia’s mother who disapproves of their marriage. He also made a tumblr blog of Octavia’s mother).
 
His stuff was really cute and I don’t think he has doen anything after that. Anyone know his name?

Shame. The last thing he seemed to post was an image of Hitler riding a dragon.

I’m sure this isn’t news for a lot of you, but I checked in again on Rain-Gear, and he seems to be done with pony stuff. He hinted that he may draw ponies again, but it doesn’t seem like he wants to.

Also, it’s safe to say that Dennyvixen is slowly quitting pony art. There are pony commissions here and there, but most recent stuff seems to be focused on Pokemon or furry.

Or maybe he just wants to draw other things sometimes too. He’s not required to exclusively do ponies. Let him do what he wants.

Not really Rule #8 - that’s more for when people maintain to very separate identities with very different names and few/no links between the two. But if there’s links between the two, or they’re similar names (Rain-Gear vs Rain-Sauce, that’s kinda obvious), then that’s fine because it’s publicly stated.
 
Also, if it was Rule #8, spoiling it wouldn’t prevent the post from being deleted.

I’m following Denny on Twitter; she’s just more interested in doing a wider variety of art, and I support that. If one makes their focus a bit too narrow, it’s easy to burn out. I wouldn’t worry; she’s been a pony fan for a very, very, very long time. I don’t see her stopping anytime soon. I support artists taking breaks now and then from certain fandoms if it keeps them fresh.

Im not sure if this is the right thread, but Ponygoddess has brain cancer and can’t afford the treatment.

Brain Cancer? That’s for sure one of the worse kind of cancer, that’s quite horrible…
 
Hope he/she could find a way to afford the treatment, I’m not sure but it would be pretty nice if we could donate to him/her to help to it, I’m sure that could be something…

According to the gofundme page, she needs at least 10,000 dollars for the treatment, and to pay for the bills and other things.
 
Last I checked, she has about 19,000 dollars donated to her. So I think she has enough? God just hearing that is depressing :(

Oh, so she has a page in GoFundMe, that’s great. Also It’s really heartwarming to see how many kindly people are out there helping, but also it worries me how expensive is treatment…
 
I really hope she can recover of her cancer, It won’t be easy considering it’s in the brain… But maybe if the doctors discovered her situation early, there’s a chance.

I wish people, affiliated or not, would approach us for stuff like this; could set up a banner and run it for a few weeks or every few weeks and it’d at least get some hits and raise awareness.
