Finished with my new art.
 

Finally I return. Sorry for not being on. Phone broke, so I got a new one.

Oops, I accidentally double posted. ^^’

Been on a bit of an EQG kick recently, so I’ve worked on a few pony vectors to break up that monotony. Plan to upload one a day probably.
 

 
I forgot how fast ponies are to make in comparison to EQG or sirens.

Gorgeous! Love it!  
Good lighting, good shading, good composition. If there’s anything I personally find lacking is the water in the background.
 
But since drawing water is hard, I commend your effort.

Yo, if there’s anything I’d love to get really good at drawing, it’s water. Some people can draw it so beautifully.

Thanks a ton! Yeah, I’ve always struggled with backgrounds, in particular water and clouds. What don’t you like about it in particular, if I may ask? Is it not detailed enough?

I dont knoe how to draw water either, so take my opinion with salt. You prolly water draw better than me.
 
But for one, it’s looks like a cropped pattern / texture, perhaps from a photo, just like the sky there (unless you painted the sky, in that case, very well done)

So, i finally got the motivation to do a new drawing.
 

 
For once i got the hands right, but i still got more questions: are the feet looking right? what should the other arms be doing?

Note that the missing shadow under the pink Changeling-bot is present in the DA version of the drawing

From my POV that feet style looks pretty neat, since I’m not much into anthro I can’t say much about the arms’ posing

For a moment, these health bars made me think of Worms video game series (minus no name bars above HP bars). Then I see it’s Final Fantasy-like art.

I recall that someone once told me that he/she thought that the artwork reminded of Sonic. Said person was probably talking about Sonic X which animation style loosely resembles.

I see. I rendered both the water and the sky in Photoshop, and while I guess that’s not technically drawing it, it was created by me (truthfully, I don’t know how I’d ever draw the water with all its detail anyway, as the last time I tried it came out looking awful).

Actually, in regards to the arms, i’m looking for suggestions.

Liquids are about the hardest thing to do in vectors, but fuck do I keep doing them anyway. Mostly piss.

For Flutters you could have drawn the arms behind her back for some posing. I can’t tell you much because I suck at drawing humans

I know the feet are supposed to be shown facing the front but they look too small.

Are the arms and Fluttershy’s hands right, and do the feet look better?

From my last vector, but it’s really a lot older in origin, just took minor editing to work with his brother, but I like it solo too much to just not upload.

Your linework is decent and you can handle a pencil and draw smooth ICS curves.
 
What you need is then to strictly follow some guidelines on structure and proportion, and you’re good to go.
