So, I have gifted art done of my OC, which a friend of mine edited to get a transparent background, but the artist is listed as DNP, and I hadn't realized it when I tried to make the upload. Is there anything I can do?

Unless you can use a different vector (in .svg or similar format) as a base instead. – Vectoring isn't too hard, if you want to try it yourself. There's plenty of tutorials to use.
