Anyway, as for your original problem, I could suggest you do what I do. Roll the dice and see what sticks. A lot of the folks I’ve slept with, the entire thing started by chance. I’ve never really feared death, I find it unnerving, but not scary. Maybe I’m blanketed by the fact that Paganism has an afterlife, and thus I’m psychologically less afraid of death due to that notion, or maybe I’ve just come to terms with it over the years.

Our definitions of “proven” vary. If I may venture into the realm of the fallacy for a moment, I could say that I’ve had several relationships, numerous sexual partners, and was almost married and yet I’m not a jerkass jaborni that sweats testosterone. However, one case not a theory make…which is why I can throw data at you for the next hour that dismantles your point roundly.
 
Give me an hour or so and I can cite a few studies if you’d like, but for now I’ll just share my knowledge uncited. Most studies indicate that females prefer mates depending on factors in their lives. Younger females (18-23) are attracted to slightly older males that have resources and or the ability to gain them, while older females (23-30) prefer males with good parenting characteristics along with the ability to gain resources. They tend to prefer males that are willing to share and devote time, strong enough to protect but not so aggressive as to threaten, and only prefer really masculine features while menstruating. Most evidence shows that the “girls like jerks” shit is just the ramblings of dude-bros that will only see wet pussy if a cat walks out in the rain.

I came to this conclusion based on the fact that despite how nice I am I can’t get anyone interested. Meanwhile I see guys who are very clearly jerks with their girl by their side. Then again the nicer ones also have someone, maybe it’s just me.
 
Also I’ve tried so much that I pretty much just gave up. Maybe it’s better being single anyway.

Maybe it’s because you’ve been indoctrinated by a cavalcade of Hollywood movies that say that you will be eventually rewarded with pussy if you’re a nice enough guy. Reality is: Sex is not a reward. If you want to actually get a lady, you have to be more aggressive and direct with your wants, otherwise… well… you’re just going to be seem forever as a friend, and you’ll have nobody to blame but yourself.
 
Me? I don’t try my luck with any women because I know I am the definition of unsexy, so I stand about as much chance as Chris Chan does of finding a woman that would find me likable and attractive enough to share space with me for more than five seconds.
