Okay, so I think I know why I wasn’t accepted into JMU’s music composition program.
 
I mostly compose rock music, and the two compositions I submitted were two of my best tracks–granted, one of them was the 16-minute long rock symphony “War of the Worlds”–but they were still rock. My music recording professor at NVCC mentioned that universities typically consider rock a lesser art form, and only take jazz and classical music (particularly modern classical) seriously.
 
Matter of fact, when the music composition professor heard that I wrote rock music, he said, “Might I suggest the Music Business class? That may be more in line with your interests.” When the head of a program you’re applying for suggests a different program, that’s always a bad sign.

Wow, it’s been really cloudy all day today, it gives off a very gloomy vibe into my room.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the times, the people that act the most “tough” and hard are the most easily offended and weak willed of the bunch.
 
Certainly not all them, but enough to be noticeable.

Religion is a horrible excuse for being against homosexuality.

I don’t really think there’s any good excuse for bigotry of any kind, just things that people think are acceptable excuses.

Honestly, it feels like to some people, religion is all about hating everyone who doesn’t share the same beliefs, race, and sexual orientation as you. And if that’s the case, then I’m glad I’m an atheist.

Money, I keep forgetting money, just because I’m considering half way credit cash on Shepherd’s Kindle mark 3. Doesn’t mean I’m buying it online.
