I know, that case was very sad, and at the same time, sad.
He was talented when it came to programming. Even had a job and his own place. But sadly he was batshit insane. What a waste… The internet really is an unforgiving place when it comes to people taking advantage of the vulnerable.

A schizophrenic and mentally ill man who coded an entire website (no seriously, the WHOLE website all by himself) called “TempleOS” where he used it to talk to God. Because of his obsession with God, the fact that most of his posts on websites like Reddit are all incoherent ramblings and that he was racist to the Nth degree, the Internet, most notably KiwiFarms took pleasure in making fun of him and making him even more paranoid. This all lead to him being homeless and even more mentally unstable to the point where he got hit by a train, likely a suicide. While I’m not excusing his racism, I feel bad for the guy because he never got the help that he needed and instead succumbed to his schizophrenia. Again the guy coded an entire website by scratch starting in 1996, that’s damn impressive.

I feel stupid now. The error on my tax return would’ve been so easy to fix had I just taken a minute to fix it, but I decided to omit important information (which I didn’t know was required at the time) and now my tax refund is probably going to be delayed until at least May 1st.

Apparently the R/watchpeopledie subreddit got banned because of people trying to upload the stream of the New Zealand shooter.

From what I can gather, the sub was banned because it apparently violated Reddit’s terms of making posts that “encourage/glorify violence”, even though the majority of the people in that sub where more saddened/morbidly curious about the contest posted there instead of trying to encourage it.
And the mods for that sub even told people there to not post the footage of the New Zealand shooting, but trolls done it anyway.
SO it seems like the sub being banned was more of a PR move instead of the sub actually violating any rules.

What’s even cursed is that MLP the Movie will never get a sequel (no the 2021 movie doesn’t count since it’s reported at Toy Fair that it won’t be a sequel, leaving implications of being a G5 movie rather than a G4 one) and yet Power Rangers does.
I liked 2017 Power Rangers, but it sucks that there won’t be redemption for MLP to be mainstream. Especially movie-wise.
