Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

I dislike the idea of “balancing” the dark side and the light because like  
One side wants destruction, the other doesn’t  
I think the Jedi maybe in the right here, they just take it a little too extreme

So one with no bad guy or good guy? Look you can call them whatever you like but having a good guy use his force powers to help others while another uses then to hurt is basically the Jedi and the Sith.

Oh no they dont follow an exact code, completely different. And Japan doesnt have an army because they cant declare war, the Japanese Defense Force is in no way a military

You seem to not understand that the Jedi and Sith are Jedi and Sith because of these codes, and there are plenty of EU force users who don’t give a shit about the codes and are arguable stronger, better/worst than Jedi/Sith.

True, but the Force will equalize them, even if they need to go Revenge of the Sith to the Jedi thousands of times, because the Force is an asshole that demands balance from those that choose to have it control them.

The Star Wars Saga Edition RPG books list at least twenty alternate Force-users, which likely many more if you’re willing to wade through the Lucas EU.

Light side user are Jedi, dark side Sith. Sure you can argue the Jedi of the Jedi of the prequels were too detached and arrogant in their believes, moving away from helping people but that was the whole point of them in the prequels. When Luke was supposed to bring back the Jedi, it was meant to be the core ideal, the whole light side of the force thing, not a 1 to 1 of the old order

Best part is when people act like the Disney Star Wars movies are the worst things ever made, and you see people who watch more than Disney movies in theatres see them complain and roll their eyes at those summer children.

i never even hinted that you’re only a real fan of star wars unless you play KOTOR 2. i’m just stating that it was ojecivly the better destruction of the the forcse, jedi and sith cuz it didn’t break wasn’t broken like lukes character, hell it’s got better placement in the franchise cuz if you want you can just keep it as its own thing far removed from what it’s deconstructing, it’s unneeded for the full story of the trilogies but something you can seek out if you want it.
 
the problem with TLJ is that you need to see it cuz it’s part of the trilogies and it only works cuz it snaps luke in half to work.

You mean the young, idealistic boy who let his emotions affect his actions resulting in him nearly killing his father who he’s trying to save got depressed when he caused the death of all of his students though the Force telling him that his nephew would turn evil, and him learning that the Jedi weren’t actually has great as he hyped himself up to think? I wonder why? And yes, I’m aware of the Lucas EU version of Skywalker, but I think the Disney one works better for the direction the movies were trying to go with, and him becoming a grumpy old man doesn’t take away what he did in his youth.
