But since it’s a different show, people wouldn’t understand this since MLP and TD are different.
 
Also, Fluttershy has its detractors too, long before Putting Your Hoof Down. Not to mention after the episode, some or most fans blamed her for their behavior, called her an antagonist/villain and hated her too.

Spike should be a human, Applejack ends up with Twilight, Flash and Sunset will have a reinstated friendship and male characters get more development so they won’t get shat on by fans and writers. Especially when they’re side characters on a girl oriented franchise.
