I’m probably the biggest music nerd on this site. I know so much about music that it’s frightening. I know the music that’s playing right now on the radio, I know the music that you listen to, I know the music that your parents listened to, I know the music that your grandparents listened to. I’m not limited to one or two genres either, I listen to them all! I judge songs not by what genre they fall under, but on its own merits from the sound to the lyrics to the singing. I’m also a music connoisseur where I constantly explore new types of songs and new artists to not only discover and listen to, but to study and analyze.
I think that music is a universal language that knows no limits or language barriers or regulations, it expresses many different types of emotions. The catchy pop songs to sing along in the car, the rock songs to air shred, the metal songs to headbang and release your anger, the rap songs to bump your head and hustle to, the R&B songs to better connect with your partner with, the country songs to reminisce about the good times with, the folk songs to hear other people’s stories and causes, the electronic songs to club and dance to, the Christian songs to achieve salvation with, no matter the genre and no matter what it says, music is a great and wonderful thing. It’s the one thing that I put above MLP and ponies.
I love music indeed.
