Community Art Trade Event!

• All provided references and traded art must be safe rated by our site’s standards. This is an all-inclusive, family friendly event!  
• All participants must be artists with a verified public link. This is a trade event, not a request thread, so for every input there must be an output. Everyone who posts their OC here to have it drawn must in return draw the OC they are charged with!  
• Please at least colour your submission. It doesn’t have to be all-out gradients, cell shading or other intricate details, but every participant should be getting out what they’re putting in.  
• While it does not have to be Derpibooru exclusive, all traded art must be uploaded on this site and appropriately tagged so that each participant may see their gift once it’s done.  
• All submissions (not references!) should be tagged derpibooru community art trade so that we can easily see all the results of this event once they’re done! Note: This tag does not yet exist as there are currently no images to apply it to. The first person to finish and post their submission will create the tag.  
• Traditional art should be scanned. If you do not have a scanner available to use, please try to take as clear of a picture as you can with the best camera and lighting available to you.  
• No pony creator generated submissions!  
• *Absolutely NO traces  
  *These rules are subject to be amended at any time during the submission process, so please refer to them before drawing and/or submitting your entry as to ensure that you are aware of any possible additions.
   
  Additional Notes:  
• All artists and types of art are welcome! Whether you’re a digital or traditional artist, specialize in pony/anthro/human characters, no matter your level of experience or popularity, step right up! One of the most exciting things about this trade event is having no idea what your OC will look like until it’s done. It’s like a pony art Secret Santa!  
• If you would like to participate but don’t yet have an artist badge or a reference of your OC, go ahead and post below saying that you’d like to participate so that you don’t miss out! Just try to get the issue taken care of as soon as possible and edit your post if necessary (ie. adding a reference or other information). If for some reason you are unable to edit your initial post, PM me with the title of this thread and whatever needs to be added; I’ll take care of it for you.  
• You are only required to draw the character you are given, but you may go above and beyond if you wish. If you’d like to throw in scenery, another character, or have the character doing something in particular, go for it! Just make sure everything contained in the image is appropriate.  
• Have fun, and no rush! This trade event is not a race or a timed test; feel free to take your time on your submission to ensure it’s up to your own standards. (Just make sure you don’t wait so long that you forget about it completely!)
