I’m probably not one to comment, but I think what you might wanna try out is giving the eyes their own models and group them afterwards. I think it’s more of a modelling than higher poly problem, which can be solved quite easily after following some guides on head modeling.
and I’m not sure about this myself, but I believe that head modeling is probably the trickiest part to get right, anyway, you have a nice looking model here so far, so best of luck with it. :)

Thanks! I’m used to N64/PS1 modelling, so doing slightly higher poly was a harder challenge for me.
