This episode also reminded me of the Phoenix Wright games. I remember cross examining witnesses about seemingly trivial details and presenting evidence that makes no sense without context. Rarity’s obsession with seemingly unimportant details saved Rainbow Dash from being kicked out of the Wonderbolts.

I was still hoping that the twist was that Spitfire sent the letter, for whatever reason. They could come up with something.
