Here’s my theory: Missy had slaved Clara’s Vortex Manipulator to her own, which doesn’t necessarily mean one travelling instantly causes the other to do so. So, when Missy was “shot,” her VM had instead activated (which is also how she survived the CyberBrig shooting her), porting her into the TARDIS, then Clara’s sent her in a little while after. Missy then turned off the brakes as the Daleks fired, and took the TARDIS during the initial explosion.
Makes me wonder: || ‘How the hell is The Doctor gonna get out of this situation now that The TARDIS is destroyed? And will he kill child Davros? It’s Moffat, he might pull the unexpected on us again! ||
