I have done this Multiple times. I was 4 years old and my dad had to watch me like a hawk because after it shocked me the first time I became addicted to the feeling. The only reason I lived was because I blew the breaker. XD

I want to add that the socket doesn’t come with protection as standard. But several countries, like Sweden where I’m from, do have a legal requirement to have this protection.

This is why the standard Schuko socket doesn’t allow you to insert anything unless you apply equal pressure on both holes … which is hard to do manually, and even harder with a 4-pin fork.
