That’s probably a better idea, but some might think it’s too close to Sugilite’s flail.

I almost wonder if bolo whips/weighted nets/etc. would make a more suitable weapon for AJ:
 
It allows her to still lob around little apple-themed projectiles, while keeping closer to her “rancher” background in the show and the pre-gunpowder weapon theme of the Crystal Gems.

Going soley by what we’ve been talking about, Twilight’s weapon is a longsword. It’s to figure out fusion weapons with whtt we’ve got and I feel that grenades and a cannon really diminishes the variety that their fusion weapons could have.

Yes, and as a sort of impromptu hoverboard since Fluttershy has limited telekinetic control over them. A higher speed can be attained using the explosive force of AJ’s grenades or Pinkie’s cannon, or Rainbow’s gusts of wind.

I could easily see Fluttershy being a support type, It’s just her nature.

Right. A longsword of some kind would be fine, then. Maybe a broadsword, depending. Likely one edge either way.  
Blowpipe does sort of fit with Flutter Shy, I suppose, but I always feel like she’d be either a support type or retaliation type.

You know what, I think Flutters would be happy with a blowpipe. Thtt wyy she doesn’t have to actually fight anyone and could just ambush her enemies. I kind of just wnnt Twilight to have a knightly sword.

Fluttershy could have beast claws, maybe? Nah, too savage. Hypno-voice? Eh.  
Twilight to me should get a weapon more related to magic, but you can’t really do that without it being a spell, really. Maybe Armor or something. Probably not. A claymore seems a bit overkill, something a bit too large for her. Maybe knives of some kind for either of them. Bo Staff to me seems like more of a weapon for Twilight.

But I’m merely talking about their weapons, not their powers. The “Quartzes” have their shield, I count Lapis’ wings as her weapons until something else is presented, and I don’t know what to think of Peridot in terms of her personal weapon. Your ideas for their individual weapons and powers sound alright, especially Spike’s set of metal chompers. I always liked the idea of AJ maybe having iron boots with either a blade on the heel or a hammer-like parts where her heels and toes are. That or a lasso. I find it difficult to find a suitable weapon for Fluttershy and Twilight, but I’ve been thinking along the lines of a claymore for Twilight and a bo staff or a slingshot for Flutters. RD would either get tonfa’s or sovnya. I think Pinkie might be fated to keep that cannon. I like the idea of Rarity’s rapier, but I’ve also thought about giving her neko-te or gloves with thin strings coming out of the tips that can cut through most objects.

Well, there was Lapis who had Water Control. And Peridot had some level of levitation skills with her… gauntlet hand thing. And Healing powers from the Quartzes.  
I in no way discounted the pic’s ideas, I just presented some of my own. I quite like Rarity’s, Rainbow’s, and Pinkie’s.

Your ideas for Twilight and Fluttershy aren’t exactly weapons as they are powers. This pick shows us that AJ’s weapons are bombs/grenades, Rarity has a rapier, Pinkie’s is presumably a cannon, and I count Rainbow’s wings as a weapon since it seems that they’re projected from her gem.
