Actually. You can make them look like pretty much whatever way you like. But there is nothing wrong with trying to match yourself though.

Eh, could still refine the color scheme and lose the freckles. They don’t really add to the design.
The slightly chubbier body type is good, though. Not enough people remember that varying the body type is an option when designing characters.

Ah well in that case the cutie mark is fine it’s just two things no need to put more than that I like the name as well I forgot to mention that earlier, I still can’t say I’m too fond of the hair maybe make it a little bit brighter dark green and brown just looks wrong.
I like that you went I slightly more filled out body type that’s not something people usually do and it looks great.
I think the freckles are cute.
the talent is just a generic ‘good at making things’ deal, i cook i draw, couldnt choose between the two
the colors are because thats what my hair is dyed like currently
the name is because 1 ‘matte glaze’ is an art term for a glossless paint, 2 ‘glaze’ is also a confectionery/cooking term, 3 ‘matte’ because i like human sounding names on ponies
I actually quite enjoyed pottery class. I wasn’t very good at it, but damn if it wasn’t fun.
Oh okay that makes more sense, I remember making those in art class back in high school I hated it.
Err, well, pottery. Sculpture, but not sculpting. I misspoke. Taking that from the name; you glaze fired pottery to add color to it and add protection. Matte would just be its luster.
Sculpting? Yeah I never would have got that from this cutie mark I thought it was cooking and ironicly enough coloring. If he’s got a talent in sculpting go with a stone and chisel or even just a simple statue.
CM is ALMOST simple enough. It seems like they’re trying to shoehorn too many things in to me. I mean, it LOOKS like a slotted spatula and a marker, and their name suggests a talent at sculpting.
They need to focus their design.
