Well it’s been shown in both the show and the comics that feeding doesn’t kill it just leaves you in a drained and weakened state and a lone changeling wouldn’t need to feed that much so I think you’d be fine.

Changelings would make awesome mates and if you need help getting to sleep they can just drain you a little and make you fall asleep.
 
 
I doubt OP has created the left part of the image, it has been around.  
And I also think if you can shape-shift, you can easily regrow body parts. Why wouldn’t you be able to if you can even add clothes when shape-shifting?
 
But I agree, sounds a bit abusive. Also agreeing on the sleeping part.
