This is kind of absurd. Neither Twilight, nor Cadence have shown to be needlessly violent and anyone from the moon can see that there are other options to resolve this than violence. I liked this comic so far, but I hate it when authors do OOC characters to create unnecessary conflicts.

Before anypony else can start, Zod’s death in Man of Steel isn’t implausible because Superman has killed beings with overwhelming power and no hope of rehabilitation, most of whom are from another part of the galaxy: Darkseid, Brainiac, etc.

Although I have all sympathies towards Chrysalis and her people, she doesn’t stand a chance against two alicorns and the guard; let alone the fact that Chrissy has been starving for god knows how long (Before and after the initial invasion).  
As for the possible grudge Cadance may have, I think we have hit the point where retribution has hit the point of being a little much.

Considering what happened (in canon) the last time Chrysalis was left free to run around as she liked, I do not doubt for a second that these three view her presence as a direct threat to their existence. Give an inch, give a mile; every allowance given to an egomaniac like Chryssi only extends her desire, and trusting her purely on the basis of a very VERY manipulative sob story which they have no way of proving would be the height of foolishness.
 
As for Shining…if someone you loved was abused and molested by someone else and they came back and asked you for a favor, how would you respond?
