I concur, and am glad that Murray et al stuck with the game instead of abandoning it like so many EA properties.
Well, it’s a couple years late… But it’s good now.
Given that the game now runs for me, all I can say is: it met my expectations. I said that if you could tolerate Elite Dangerous, then you’d have fun with NMS; and loe-and-behold, that’s exactly what I got.
Despite my snide comments, I have hope for NMS living up to what was originally shown.
Yep I seen that video yesterday, quite funny how it mixed the interview with Sean Murray with clips of glitches and crashes, but I’m hoping they finally patch the game to what was shown originally, even though it’s a bit too late now.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
The updates are going to improve it a lot, they are adding base building and star freigters to the next update, I do understand the frustration though it was kind of an unfinished game, but look at minecraft for example.. It was shit when it first got released but it ended up getting better as they added more features.

I read the exact number of worlds to be 18,446,744,073,709,551,616
One of these!
Millions of star systems was actually an understatement. The head at Hello Games stated that their procedural generation system could theoretically churn out planets in the hundreds of trillions. Forget the ‘needle in a haystack’ analogy, trying to find an MLP easter egg planet will be like finding a micro-surgical needle in a haystack the size of an entire planet.
Your simile sounds better if it said galaxy’s smallest blah de blah de blah. :j
…let me change it.
You’re right. Why didn’t I think of such an obvious name? :)
And Equestria is just 1% of the exploration.
