makes me wonder if there will be a point where any alternate universe mane six character with a new name will be given a special tag(like AUOC:[insert new name here]). like this would be tagged AUOC:prism wing and AUOC:stardust nova

Well, for starters it helps to do a little bit of research. These are reimaginings of the main characters in a world where their personalities are swapped (depending on the pair) but they still have the same life goals. They look and act different from the main characters, hence not the same, hence the “oc” tag. Probably would be best to check the blog they explain it all there.

what makes this “alternate universe” so special that every MLP character must be renamed as an OC? :o it isn’t an OC it is just a different way of drawing a character, eh?
