Description

Tagged this as questionable, I would be a hypocrite if I tagged it safe. Reasonable Discussion is very welcomed, please do not turn it into flaming.

I think it’s a matter that the Safe-Suggestive-Questionable-Explicit tags only really apply to nudity/sexual content. Additional tags like “drugs” or “grimdark/semi-grimdark” are what apply to other tags one might consider objectionable.

Correct me if I’m wrong, staff, but those tags are excluded in much the same way as nudity and sexual content under the filter settings, like the default setting everyone initially signs on with? I would assume so, that just makes logical sense. IE: If you wouldn’t see it in the show, you won’t see it under the “Default” filter.

Only you’re completely wrong.

This would go under site and policy, which frequently has very useful serious discussions. Do you know what happens after about 24 hours to a meta image post on here? Other than the same people who began commenting and are subscribed to it, nobody else is going to see it.

Cut your crap about the forums being useless because you’re only discouraging their usage and contributing to the problem.

@Prof.NightJack
But the forums did, do, and likely always will suck for that purpose. They’re great for discussions that recur constantly (what did you think of the last episode?), or standing discussions (latest site changes as of whatever today is), or where you just want a discussion and don’t care that it’s the same three people you’ve discussed everything else with.

To start an actual discussion, you have to start it where the people are. Which, unsurprisingly on an image site, is the image gallery.

So no, the forums are the way to go if you don;t want to get in trouble.

Also the comment where to point out you thinking of how the tags work, and how posting this is to talk, is wrong.

You can suggest to put the tag drugs into the default filter. But it would be wrong to tag them per se with a other system tag like suggestive, questionable or explicit, those are for sexual content, and grimdark or grotesque, which are for darker content.
The only thing I would say appropriate for “safe drug images” would be maybe semi-grimdark.
