The concept can work best if they bloody make their own custom pony figure with the buttons and inputs built in the design. XD
My thought: The pony’s neck can be a Atari stick, four buttons go on the left side of her body, and the START and SELECT go on her left hind leg. It’ll be best if it’s just for a NES or SNES or other like consoles of the mid ‘80s and early ‘90s. Shoulders may work if you use a D-Pad instead of a stick, but if it were me, I’d prefer crafting a custom controller pony in less than a hundred years, lol. Also, the optimal size is possibly between a Brushie and a Funko. A Brushie is too small, and a Funko is too big. I think I recall G1’s were available in both sizes, if that’s anypony’s preference.

I doubt it. See the D-pad? There should be switches beneath it to detect where it’s pressed.
Later.
>Pushing against a plastic toy pony’s rear end.
… I’m passing.
See, there’s no PCB for the D-pad to push against.
I don’t think so.
If it’s as I think it is, then no.
