Yeah it had this 3D kinda look that match the background.
For MLP everything generally looks flat.
I think it’s that and the fact that the box has explicit outlines and the rest of the shop isn’t outlined.

Kind of. The reference was too unsubtle unlike the Ralf one. If it was just the box, or just the “Discovered” sound, or just the exclamation mark, it would have been more tasteful. They drove the reference home too hard.
I don’t mean the joke, that was funny, but the physical box seems pasted on the backdrop.
