Me and a couple of dudes in the femuscle community like to chat a bit, and one day I kinda wanted to make a pony since we’re all MLP fans-ish. People chipped in and gave suggestions and this is a culmination of that. Drawn by DepravedDefense.

The scholar known as Ley Line is a pony that always brings a BURST of exploration around her!
 
The Essentials
 
Name: Ley Lines
 
Aliases: Ley(s), The Climber of Shirecrag
 
Race: Unicorn
 
Eyes: Lime green like emeralds found in a cave.
 
Hair: A flowing black set of hair with a pony tail to match with an orange band.
 
Birthplace: Canterlot! The bithplace of magic and whimsy!
 
The Persona of Ley
 
Likes: Mountains and volcanos, Temples, races, a good hike, trailmix, always having a compass around, getting one’s hooves in mud, reading archeological journals (and writing her own), museums.
 
Dislikes: Deforestation, sights that can’t captivate ponies, people saying museums are boring, an incomplete map! (She must finish it!)
 
Personality: The three most important qualities to an explorer has to be: determination, bravery, and intelligence. Leyline has all these essential qualities into her personality. Oftentimes she’d get distracted in an expedition or finding an artifact, even if she’s just reading about it in a journal. She is ardent in her task, sometimes even being caught writing journal entries whilst endangered.
 
Ley Line Cutie Mark Ability:
 
Her main ability, as her name suggests, connects her to the lines of powers beneath the earth. The closer she is to a center of magical power, the bigger she can make herself by absorbing the energies through her hooves. Her main picture is an approximation of her sizes, and the more power she absorbs, the stronger her charges and her earth-abilities (Think shockwaves, quakes on the land, sending the earth up) can do. As she is still a young adventurer, there’s still a lot of room for her to throw her weight around. The proximity of the leylines bases how strong she can be and can even change her abilities to a point.
 
Story:
 
A foal like Ley had a fairly normal upbringing: was born, had friendship lessons had her cute-cenera, got admittance into the Canterlot school for Gifted Unicorns at the age of 8 years old, forced the rebuilding over the Archeology tower… several times… Regardless, she was mostly liked for her determination and the papers she’s written on the connections of a few elemental temples under the tutelage of her mentor. She would often accompany her team in various adventures and she’d often times consider herself a shield for her friends.
