Oh, who am I kidding this is coming from the same anime in which trainers can tell their pokemon to dodge and moves go at the same time. I can’t tell my Mewtwo to dodge an attack in the games!

But yeah, I think it’s been at least eight years since I last saw any of the Pokemon movies. I really liked 2000 for some reason, though, probably because my favorite at the time was Lugia.
Man, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the movies. XD
Although I would argue Ash probably is the sort of idiot that would throw the world in the shitter for good Pokemon. XD
…the Collector in 2000 pretty much decided the ultimate addition to his collection would be to capture the Legendary Birds in order to bring out Lugia. His doing so throws the entire world off-balance as supposedly there’s nothing around anymore to control it and the birds, when released, are too busy fighting to actually do anything about it. He’s sort of obliviously evil; he wants something, but isn’t entirely aware of the damage it’s causing.
I have a feeling that something similar would happen with Equestria if this scenario played out.
