She dont have much defense and strength states. So she have to rely herself on avoid and parry. She is smaller than most female earth pony.

Nah. Not just her hands is really useful. But her being a hero mean that she will take any quest from NPC…Errr…Any ponies who ask her for help. Like expel some monster or finding material or delivery something. XD
Far as I can tell, pones of any type do OK between the tails, grippy-wings, lifty-horns & magnet-hooves. Oh, and mouths. Still, digits sure help if you’re climbing, picking locks, writing friendship letters…
Well, it’d be useful unless they were unicorns, naturally… ’Cause then you can work around it.
I don’t know if being hero is job or not. But having hands is really useful for people who have hooves.
