My desire of thinking of cultural differences ends at “The Three Seashells”.
… Nope, not posting what that’s a reference to.
Alls I’m trying to say is that in a world of sentient equines I find it funny to think that stud is a word associated prostitution rather then a complament like it would the real world
I like to think of subtle cultural difference between a fantasy world and real world
I think “stud” has a positive-enough meaning based around how a guy may look (like he could pick up a lot of women, as seen in Grease) compared to whore. Also, ‘whore’ tends to base itself around rumors or style, and considering most ponies lack clothes, a ‘whore’ wouldn’t be used too often in a positive light.
That’s basically what a real stud is
I actually think that in equestria stud wouldn’t be complament it’d be like saying whore

Boy toy is also a good phrase and what bimbos probably call them
