Until Rainbow discovered her joy of reading, the two of them just didn’t have anything in common. Then Twilight got her wings, that just sealed the deal, since Fluttershy is a terrible flying buddy.
 
Besides, Soarindash is clearly superior to both.

You mean the same Twilight that didn’t test the wing spell on herself to go into Clouddale; the same Twilight that didn’t consider handing the extra tickets to Rainbow in her daydream scenario; the same Twilight that only hanged with either Applejack or Fluttershy all throughout season 1; the same Twilight that forgot about Rainbow, had Spike take her place, and went to save her last to defeat Discord; the same Twilight that barely exchanged two words with her before she took an interest in a book; the same Twilight that talks to Rainbow like she’s a kid rather than a peer? That Twilight? Nah.

Nah, Twilight takes care of Rainbow Dash more than any other pony. So TwiDash is more superior than TwiJack.

In the show Twilight and AJ treat each other as equals more so than the other mane 6 to each other, so it would be hard to say. However if there was ever a foal I think AJ would be the one raising it like a mom.

Nah, Twijack is the superior ship; just look at major episodes/stand alone ep. adventures. AJ’s always got Twi’s back and Twilight gives AJ a lot of preferential treatment.;)

Pretty much this. They’re great friends and their banter and back and forth is wonderful, but they’d drive each other to murder if it went any further in a romantic sense.

This is an outrage! I liked Aj with Rainbowdash! Lol, jk. Honestly I do like the chemestry they share and wonder if idw has done anything with Discoshy.

Yeah, me to. While I don’t care for the fanon “RariJack” romantic shipping, (I prefer the “Mane 6” to remain just friends) I do like their platonic friendship, and how their opposite personalities clash. No matter how much they clash, and get on each others’ nerves they still manage to stay good friends, and can still have fun.
