The remark “Tony ‘Lazy’ Fleecs strikes again” in the image description does sound rather passive-aggressive though, and like they’re trying to start something about him, and the comic, (both of which are becoming a rather touchy/controversial subject on Derpibooru as it is recently) rather then just doing an “innocent” comparison.
 
I will admit, it is perhaps a bit lazy, but I still think Tony’s a decent artist, even if he’s not my fav’.  
(His cover art is epic, but I kinda wish he’d put a bit more effort into his interior art.)

That li’l mini-rant of mine wasn’t directed at you sorry, but people in general who’ve been bashing Tony & the comic lately. (I even tried to separate the paragraph with hyphens to try to illustrate that I wasn’t talking to you directly after that.)  
As for the “where’s that quality now?” I assume the reason his interior art isn’t as good as his cover art is because he has more time to “perfect” the covers, due to deadlines to meet with the interior art, and so many pages he has to do. Unlike cover art which is only one page, and he probably has more time to “perfect” them.
 
Also, no offense, but your constant bashing of the comic is getting a li’l old. It’s fine if you don’t like it, and it’s ok to critique things you don’t like about it sometimes, (heck I didn’t like some things about the EqG “Winter” issue either) but to bash it constantly gets annoying.  
I don’t hold any grudge against you, or anything, but try to lighten up a li’l bit please. Just don’t pay attention to them if you hate them so much now, or if they bug you so much. You’ll be happier focusing more on things you like instead.

On very tiny cellphone screen avatars that don’t even take up one-tenth of a comic panel… You make it sound like the whole comic was copied, or something chill.  

 
I kinda wish people would stop bashing Tony Fleecs so much. He’s not perfect by any means, nor my favorite artist, but it’s like people forgot he has done some epic art before.

Actually, I don’t think it can be compared like that. The asset is the tool, the animation is the product. Just like a digital artist reusing a custom brush. Reusing tool is all fine and good. Now, reusing the product however, is where it becomes lazy.

Agree to disagree, but I don’t think those are comparable. He drew every single other character on the cover, why just Twilight?

Is it just me or does the cover version on the bottom look worse then the panel on top?

Psh, if you think THIS is lazy, you should hear about the show animators.

Oh, sure. An engineer reuses what works and he’s just being efficient. But an artist does it and suddenly he’s “lazy.”

Did he seriously trace a work of his own to fill out the cover?
