Metal Gear had no voices. Hoihoihoihoi. X3
…wait. I’ve just accidentally described the entirety of MGRR, and probably most of the original series.
By “sounding like a gruff man” you mean “REALLY TRYING TO SOUND LIKE BATMAN but instead being over the top and funny”?
Also, I am wondering how hard it is to mod Metal Gear Rising. Because a few days ago I thought of the most epic use for CreatorOfPony’s EqG models ever. Basically, take his first model (Rainbow Dash) and also rip the models from MGR (it can be done…that’s how they got the Rising models for Garry’s Mod and SFM,) take Raiden’s cyborg armor components and tweak them to fit Dashie’s frame to make Raiden Dash. Do the same with the other EqG models and the other MGR characters, get MGR for PC, and make a mod that replaces Raiden with Raiden Dash, and the other characters and bosses with your EqG character of choice. I think because the fact that the Equestria Girls models are humanoid, they could be adapted to use many of the same anmimations as Raiden and the other MGR characters with more or less success. Either that, or they’d wind up becoming grotesque abominations in the vein of the infamous Smash Bros moveset swaps (IE, Pikaman, Snakey Kong, etc.) But I say it’s worth a try.
And I don’t know what’s funnier: Raiden suddenly looking like a blue-skinned teenage horse-girl-thing wearing his armor, and nobody else in the game noticing anything unusual or otherwise off about him, or Rainbow dressed as a cyborg ninja and sounding like a gruff man when she talks.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
