Ya gotta try the side activities some time. It gets a lot better once you start unlocking stuff.
I played through 1/3 of the game and always thought “When is Saint’s Row IV gonna actually offer variety?”
At least that game gave me a reason to keep playing and go for all the side activities unlike GTA V which waited over a year before they gave us some worthwhile unlockables like the Duke O’ Death, the racing muscle cars, and the monster truck.
Saint’s Row IV was also way too short and really had no variety in the gameplay.
i agree saints row never really forced you to do much and the rare times it did wore fun tho Saints Row 2 and 4 are my favs.
one other ting saint row had was a lot of me memorable moments and Character and cool weapons like the Samurai Sword the let you do really cool combo
“El Rubius”, ha ha ha ha.
And it was a blatant satire of Saints Row IV (which I think ended up being the better sandbox game because it didn’t require you to replay missions several times over to grind out cash to buy something fun. It just let you have fun.)
