Yay, my waifu and I have so much in common!

We never really saw a nervous Spitfire before. She’s always cool and calm. An insecure Spitfire is kind of refreshing, plus I’m pretty much a Spitfire fanboy. So this one is a must-buy for me.

I like artists like Mebberson and Hickey despite the liberties they take on their unique styles.  
This new guy has an unique style but seems to have no idea of what is he supposed to do.
 
So just like Tony Fleecs’ art, I don’t like it.

This looks like a very interesting story. I love the pegasus-focused adventures.

Well from my personal experience, trying to teach a group of kids for the first time is bloody terrifying (I assume it’s Spits’ first time???). Sure she’s a fearless acrobat and a hard-as-nails drill sergeant, but with kids… if you’re not used to dealing with them, there’s the fear of not knowing where to start with them. Do you patronise them or completely confuse them? Then you get terrified of how they might respond to you if you do.  
Maybe.

I thought this was the Wonderboltoots series.

I’m guessing Spitfire’s actions are a result of either being treated by an older sister that way coming out now with her in a similar position, or struggling to connect with a younger one.
 
(Adding an off-screen sister would do minimal if any harm to canon; the other likely situation - spitfire having her own child, would raise far far far too many alarms).

I like the art style. Still not caring about the comics, tho.
