it was a joke based on the awkward potential interpretation of the post replied to. I mean, “Every human is supposed to have pale skin”? “(Her) skin is too dark”? You really don’t see that? You focused on ponies, try reading it without thinking ponies, that’s where the joke comes from. That misinterpretation was too there for someone not to comment on, so I decided it would be me. And you’ll note that one single word (not capitalized or punctuated) does not actually lend itself to discussion of the issue or to properly expressing outrage on a subject. ‘Cause it wasn’t meant to. Since it was a joke.
 
So. You know. Don’t be so overly sensitive.

What racism? Aren’t they all the same race? Last I checked the color of the ponies’ bodies does not qualify as a race, just like hair and eyes colors don’t.

You know, given the setting and characters, this could easily be interpreted as Lightning trying to help Coco out. She might be upfront about it, but it could easily be there. (She wasn’t a bad pony, she just wasn’t cut-out for military esque life. She’s more of an athlete.)
 
That said, as well, Suri could actually care about Coco in a way. The one in Equestria knew Coco as her newest assistant in her job, while the one of Canterlot…Well, it’s probably more just have someone to push around. Most likely because she doesn’t have any friends and is subconsciously both picking on Coco and clinging on her at the same time. It’s possible that they could still grow to be good friends.

Every human is suppose to have PALE skin. Lightning Dust’s skin is too dark.
