Following the comic this image is based on, then Luna is Jason Todd.
If Luna is Jason Todd, then that makes Nightmare Moon the Red Hood.
If Nightmare Moon is Red Hood, then someone has to be the Joker.
Now, who do we now that acts all funny but is actually a monster who wants chaos everywhere?
New headcanon!: At some point before his defeat, Discord attacked Luna (discorded seems a likable idea) and left her traumatized. Some time after, the trauma was too much and BAM! Nightmare Moon!
