I’m going to ignore the fact that you copyposted the same “this isn’t art theft” statement on three of this “artist’s” “works.” If you look at the way all of this art is done, from the terrible eraser line edits to the awful shading attempts, which isn’t even close to what Pix3m did with his art, this is obviously an artist who took Pix3m’s work and abused it and published it for him/herself, without even giving him credit.
You’re wrong, he/she did not provide a single link to any reference. Make no mistake, this artist is a thief, any way you cut it. Just because it’s not a recolor doesn’t make it any less wrong.
This “original” has nothing to do with it. It’s not an art theft. Artist has made pixelart based of other people pictures. He provided links to reference pictures he used. It’s as fair as it gets.
