Is this the actual tag policy for theft? Because what I’m hearing you say is “Because it’s pixel art it can be made into a base without the artists permission and sold” If this was any other medium there would be shitfits galore, especially for an artist like Pix3m.
 
Again if this is just for the qualification for the tag “Art theft” fine. On derpibooru’s standards it’s not then.
 
But it’s still theft no matter how you put it on any other site. Credit or no credit, there was no artist permission.

This “original” has nothing to do with it. It’s not an art theft. Artist has made pixelart based of other people pictures. He provided links to reference pictures he used. It’s as fair as it gets.

Why is this tagged art theft when the supposed original is clearly not the same image?
