Sorry guys for the wall of text.  
I’m about to start work and I’m browsing the booru from my phone, and I was so fascinated by the idea of changelings living lifes similar to our normal ponies that I just Had to spin it around where Pinkie Pie is one of the most powerful beings in Equestria, and is essentially the polar opposite of Queen Chrysalis.

After reading this page, the first thing that came to my head was that Pinkie, even as a Changling always had reality warping powers, but because life is so harsh and depressing in the Changling Kingdom, Pinkie never had a chance to realize she could break the 4th wall.  
The Changling empire is quite large and powerful, but not until Pinkie Pie grows tired of her Changling life, thag she then starts a rebellion to overthrow Queen Chrysalis and bring a better life to all Changlings.  
Pinkie Pie manages to use her powers to reshape many of the Changling towns into something more upbeat, clean, and happy.  
Queen Chrysalis was not able to stop Pinkie Pie from reshaping the land into a bright cheerful utopia. In a sense Pinkie Pie became a new Changling queen, only that she does not forcefully drain happiness from her subjects, choosing to feed only the right amount that she needs from her subjects from the daily parties that she throws.  
Also her subjects don’t even that she is a queen. Before long the Changlings that she rules over live knew lives as ponys, unaware that they are Changelings, simply content living in a multicolored pastal world with little to worry or fret over.  
Pinkie Pie changes her appearance every decade or so, so she can live her happy life in the newly founded Equestria, without anyone knowing her true nature. She also established the Alicorn system, wherw every hundred years a exceptionally good mare is chosen from her empire and granted the status of alicorn.  
In reality anypony can hold the feature of a unicorn horn, or pegasus wings. But Pinkie Pie enjoys the differences in each unique pony race, like the new type of rainbow themed pegasus she just came up with.  
But as she is the only member of Equestrian society that is capable of immortality, and since she does not want to live her life as a grand all knowing powerful ruler over her subjects as Queen Chrysalis was, she secretly rules over the oldest Alicorn and guides her to groom the next younger alicorn before the oldest eventually passes on.  
Currently Pinkie Pie just changed her image from a yellow and white pegasus to a pink earth pony. And the newest alicorn just gained her own chrystal empire, she is pondering if a young purple unicorn is ready to become an Alicorn also and rule over her own Kingdom, maybe Ponyville should get its own castle too?

It is indeed supposed to be the changeling version of Mrs Cake, although I definitely understand some people’s comparison of her to Mayor Mare.

Is the changeling shouting “work harder” Mrs. Cake?
