why is this downvoted so much? it’s a nice couple and the artwork is perfect. i think it’s because there are many who don’t support this couple or this crossover in general, which is unfortunate

It depends more on the canon, as there’s like a bunch of different Sonic canons. You’re referring more-so to the “Sonic Boom” TV show canon, and the “one who tried to drown him” the Fiona robot was from the old Sonic comics. (Same with Mina.) Also, the “girlfriend who turned into a tree” that eXAKR is referring to is Cosmo from “Sonic X.” (Though, they liked each other, and Tails had a crush on her, they never officially became a “pairing/item.”)

Depends on what you count as Tails’ ‘last girlfriend’, because his last girlfriend actually went on a date with him, followed by another girl making bed-room eyes at him while he fixed her bike. On the other hand, a look into the future showed him married to a pop-star and they had kids years after his first girlfriend tried to drowned him when it was revealed she was a robot. Meanwhile another Tails, although he hates to be called that, is the shadow ruler of a kingdom and ordering the Princess/Queen around.
 
And that’s just his actual relationships, not counting the one-sided crushes. Kid’s got a complicated love life for someone his age…or whatever age you chose to apply…

Actually he was like 11 in the comics for awhile, (you have to be 13 to be a “teenager” in American culture) but with the whole “Genesis wave/semi-reboot” thing he’s probably been de-aged to his game-accurate age now. Age hasn’t always been brought up much in the Sonic comics anyways. (Heck, Antoine & Bunnie are married now, and we don’t know how old they both are.)

Are you talking the games or the comics? Cause in the former it’s not so much a resistance force as some guys that tend to run into trouble and Tails owns actual workshops, and in the latter it’s kinda odd to allow a kid into what is now a government force anyways.
