Ponies just coming up to her all the time wondering ‘if it works like Daisy Jo’s’ and prodding at it. Even worse once it started to work.
I kind of imagine for everything they aren’t scared of, Pinkie has unintentionally given the town no sense of personal space whatsoever.

No one really batted an eye to Gilda, though, because she tended to avoid ponies anyways.

Ponyville’s ponies seem frightened or spiteful of anything that doesn’t look like a pony, or acts out of turn. Exhibits A and B, Trixie and Zecora.
And if she were born in Ponyville, she might have had it pretty good. They don’t seem like very judgmental folk all around.
I mean really, if I were a stallion, I wouldn’t mind spending time with her.
