I wouldn’t mind some interaction between the two, (even if it’s not ‘shippy, as I don’t feel strongly either way over the ‘ship) but thanks to the fanbase’s rabid hate of Flash, he seems to of been regulated to background character now. (Judging by the last EqG movie. I’ll be amazed if he’s allowed to have a speaking role in the next.)
 
They claim the fanbase doesn’t influence the show, but it oddly does effect a few minor things.

I hate to say it but flash doesn’t do much as a pony(but I want to see a flush and twi in the show)

Actually, I think walking into other ponies is, in fact, Flash’s special talent. He went into the guard so he could make practical use of it.

I do like the idea of Flash dismissing Twilight’s dissatisfaction with being a princess, it’s a pretty believable thing for a couple to argue about.
 
Also a believable thing to make up over the next day when they both realize they were being terse instead of supportive, I’d love to see that followup.

Faved if only because of that Twi frustrated expression.

Haters gotta hate something, right? Whether they be drinkin’ copious amounts of their haterade or hatin’ for the sheer sake of simply hatin’… they gonna hate. Tis a fact.
 
Still, I do wonder why Celestia gets so much of the brunt. The largest complaints towards her as far as the show’s canon is concerned seems to center around the fact that when danger shows up, she sends Twilight and Co. off to face it.
 
All things considered, she seems to have been building up Twilight for a while, so this works for me. Other times, Celestia herself couldn’t face the foe at hand and Twilight had to step up to bat because she needed to.
 
I just seem to think a majority of the hate comes from people thinking that Celestia is useless and just always sends Twi into the battle out of laziness on her own part. I don’t see that myself, but that’s what I think a lot of others might.
 
As for the Solar Empire and the New Lunar Republic thing. Eh. It produces good music on Youtube. That’s about the full extent that I care. I like both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna equally. They both have their jobs, they both love each other dearly, and unless one goes insane due to years of stress from feeling rejected (which Luna appears to have recovered from, mind you), they don’t really have much of a reason to fight each other any longer.
 
It’s why I don’t pay attention to the Empire Vs. Republic fanfics. Sure, some might be well-written, but the logic behind it doesn’t work with me.
 
Still, I will repeat, the songs it’s produced within the Youtube community are awesome beyond words.

Eh, it’s all in the sarcasm. It isn’t a way to pepper words, it’s an entirely different language.
 
As for Celly. She’s benevolent, she really seems to care about Twilight, she raises the sun, and she’s just so darn pretty.
 
I’d brush her mane and give her a bag of oats and an apple any day of the week, dude. One of my favorite ponies.

Sorry, it’s hard to tell when people are joking, or being serious on this site. Some people actually aren’t joking when they say strange/silly things like that… (Especially, the Celestia-haters. Seriously, I’ve seen fans say they want ponies to overthrow her.)

He barely says anything in the show. Anything at all. Cross-canon cameos generally don’t get many lines, especially any of importance.

I think this is a joke on how Twilight was complaining about how all she does as a princess is “smile, and wave.”

Flash, I’ll admit, even though I didn’t like the idea of Twi having a love interest in Equestria Girls, you just didn’t have enough characterization for me to either like or dislike.
 
But now you’re just being a dick. She’s unsure of herself, dude. Be chill and be encouraging.
