Most of the diverse-mlp-headcanons are just… ugh, not even worth going into, but this one is actually a really nice one, that’s diverse without being forced and pretty sensible. Plus, there really should be more asexual Luna!

You can want to kiss someone without wanting to have sex with them… Maybe she’s an asexual hetero-romantic (meaning, she likes stallions to have a relationship with, but not sex with).
 
Anyway, we can’t know Luna’s sexual orientation. I guess it isn’t impossible that she’s asexual, seeing as how she’s over 1000 years old, never married and apparently has no children. Of course, she spent 1000 years in complete isolation on the moon… I’m not sure how that would affect her libido.

Unless she’s in Nightmare Moon mode. Then you start running and never stop.

This isn’t something I’m too sure I headcanon, this is just a headcanon someone submitted to diverse-mlp-headcanons and I had to be the one to post it here so no one would repost my background art.
 
But no, that’s not why I’d view her as asexual. She could just, you know, not have sexual desire. She could have been asexual before she was sent to the moon.  
My headcanon for her is that she is somewhat sexual, just sexually awkward. (Because of her limited experience with people and because it seems really cute)

It’s not like she purposefully wanted to be alone on the moon… That’s the only reason you think she’s asexual right? I mean, she’s awkward to people in the Nightmare Night episode just cuz it’s been awhile since she interacted with anyone else and they all fear her. It’s not like she doesn’t want interaction, she does.

Well, if you headcanon her as a really sexual person, sure.  
If you headcanon her as asexual, then she could have just been being romantic with him.  
All depends on how we headcanon her.

Asexual just means she doesn’t experience sexual attraction. She could still experience romantic and sensual (kissing, hugging, etc) attraction just fine. So nope, she can be asexual even if that image applies.

Also, if you really want both then talk to the mods, they set up tag aliases all the time, that way people can search for ether one but get all the image without having two tags.

Interesting. I just see her as being naive about sex and don’t want her to be taken advantage of.  
But I can see how, if we headcanon her as sexual and knowledgeable about sex, she really want sex after all this time without it.

No you don’t understand, on this site we tend to get rid of redundant tags.  
We do not used two tags from the very same thing, so you need to pick the one you are going to use on here, the other is not needed and needs to be removed.
 
Case in pint, we used ‘princess twilight sparkle’ for her as an alicorn but do not have a second tag ‘alicorn twilight sparkle’ for it, only one tag.

Not sure what you mean? I think I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think she’s arrogant or anything. I’m not sure I headcanon her as asexual myself, but I’ll entertain it for the sake of discussion, since I do still like this headcanon.  
Entertaining this headcanon, I don’t think she’d be arrogant about it. She just wouldn’t feel the attraction is all. I can still see her developing crushes and being all super cute and probably awkward in a romantic relationship :)
