It would make a cool parody episode considering how just like Godzilla being exposed to radiation made him different than the others, Spike was hatched a unique way (magic) which they could use to make him different from normal dragons.
Replace radiation with magic, and we got ourselves Equestria’s own Kaiju backstory.
