There is a book out now called MLPEG: Rainbow Rocks, which is more and more looking like the novelization of these shorts + additional padding (like Twilight pony thinking about the human world).
Then there’s the link BP posted here, which is now looking like the novelization of the actual film, and - save perhaps for the band shots - we have not seen any footage of.

I’ll be honest. I don’t think I have ever seen such a bastardized attempt at making a word in my life.
I mean “Hamstocalypse”? Really?
The trailer had almost none of the movie.
They were from these clips, a bunch of mini-prequels.
You sure about that? From what i remember from the trailer i seen these exact clips.
