Because I wanted to have Fluttershy adorned in the absolute maximum of animals, she has the chameleon, the ‘Hat of Undeniable Wealth and Respect’, and replacing the Compact Koalah, none other than Angel Bunny! :)
I wonder if the Sniper can actually WEAR this entire getup or if there’s a limit to animals one can have on their person at a time…

The other thing you should remember is Native!Equestria Girls!Twilight is a SCIENTIST.
Also, Twilight is neurotic, likes experimenting, has the reputation of MAD SCIENTIST among the Fandom, (there’s been several fanfics and Grimdark fics about that very topic,) and above all else, she seemed like she was just about ready to experiment on and/or dissect Pinkie Pie for SCIENCE! in the episode dealing with the Pinkie Sense.

That’s also why Fluttershy as Medic wouldn’t work. He’s crazier than the Sniper. Really, the Sniper is probably among the least craziest of his teammates.
He is, but he’s not above pointing and laughing at his enemies’ misery. None of the mercs are, really.
There is an implication that the Demoman comes from a long line of ‘Highlands Demolition men’ who seem to be known for abandoning them until their skills manifest.
Well, he already made an ecplanation of why he choise Demo-jack and not AppleJack-Engi. Because he thinks Applejack is not so smart like Enginner, that’s all. And what ia that “family tradition and etc”? The only thing that fits AJ with Demo is because she is tough and live with his grandma.

That’s kind of the point I was making. The artist himself says there’s no escaping the fact each and every one of the mercs are killers. What I was trying to say is that all of the ponies (not the mercs) are kind, and none of them are more or less likely to kill anything. Really I think the only thing that keeps Fluttershy docile is her timid nature and fear of conflict - something that the Medic, despite healing, runs into without thought.
Well, if we’re definitely including the mane seven, Applejack is the only one left over to be Demoman. Who is, coincidentally, who Metalkitty matches up.
Personally, I feel it fits, at least better than Engineer!Applejack, at any rate. Tough, versatile, part of a family tradition, etc.
Engineer’s pretty amiable.
Is Team Fortress 2. Nobody is kind except the Heavy. Everybody is a person with a gun and mental problems.
So wait, it’s stupid to make Twilight Medic because of science/magic, but it’s perfectly sensible to make Fluttershy Medic because she’s kind? They’re all kind. Fluttershy’s the element of Kindness, but Twilight’s the element of Magic, so elements be damned.
Twilight and Fluttershy’s introversions tend to differ though; Twilight is a lot more extroverted than Fluttershy, and a lot more sociable, especially after her coronation. While Fluttershy can socialize, she’s still often very scared of attention from ponies she’s not familiar with.
Demoman and Engineer are not introverts. Demoman is best friends with Soldier (At least until WAR!). Engineer is very sociable, sort of like a Southern good ol’ boy with 11 Science degrees.
Is the same with Demoman and Engineer.
Sniper is an introvert but can socialize when he needs to. That’s why Twilight and Fluttershy are often depicted as snipers.
In an unrelated note, left-handed Fluttershy is canon.
The Heavy maybe is one of the most friendly merc. we see he does care about his teammates, he laughs at jokes, he loves and supports his family, he shows sympathy, and takes good care of his medic.
Maybe, but the Heavy seems to be the friendliest of the classes (besides maybe the Engineer). The Medic is a psycho who considers healing an unintended side-effect of his experiments, and the Sniper seems to be completely antisocial and withdrawn.
