Ad-Block-Plus has some settings and you can chose a filer sets. I think they have even some kind of moderate setting, so that you get a few ads, but nothing annoying. And you can chose on which pages you deactivate it. Then the domain has ads, but then you can’t usually chose to block the ads on a sub-site. But if ad-block is activated on a site, you can chose to block a specific sub-site. And it is actually pretty easy to handle.
Well, I don’t HAVE ad-block except for what my browser already provides (which is limited to pop-up ads, but even that doesn’t work half the time), and in some cases the people making videos on Youtube or Blip.tv actually NEED the revenue from those ads to make a living. I WANT to get ad-block, but I don’t want to deprive those people of their income. Do Ad-Block programs allow you to make exceptions for specific sites (or even just small sections of specific sites, so that I can have some ads on Youtube blocked but not others)?
Really? I never noticed because of ad-block. :p
But on Dailymotion, the episode gets interrupted at every 5-minute mark for an advertisement… I’m not exaggerating.

And btw. I would buy the series on DVD, if it had the original audio on it. (The german translation sucks.) And there is only a season 1 DVD and Blu Ray Set… And Equestria Girls…

He believes artists should have no right over their works and thinks the DNP list, as well as the concept of artist request takedowns, is abhorrent. He also goes to harass artists on Tumblr (and likely elsewhere) about it. Artists, apparently, exist only to serve him art for free.

And who made you a moderator that you can say such statements? It is perfectly legal to post screencapes and animated clips from the show here. They count as visual quotes.
And it is wished to make source-links to refer to the original artist. Other than that it would be sole thievery.
Even if some artist consider the booru system as a whole as art tief, because it is distribution and displayed against there will here. That is why we have a DNP list, and that is what Rule #1 means.
It doesn’t even mean that we aren’t allowed to post links to streams. Otherwise, the first post, of the season 4 discussion thread in the forum, wouldn’t have any links (other to the official ones) to the episodes.
Eh, audio problems still occur on the iTunes version. Hell, they dont fix mistakes like the credits. Merriwether Williams still hasnt been credited for Bats!, it’s McCarthy still. So I dunno if delaying the eps have helped the quality on iTunes.
I will hoever say that the Hub version is technically and unfortunately the best and fixed version of FiM. (Of course, these are the recorded versions)

-Fixes visual errors like the credits in Bats! but also, in A Dog And Pony Show, there was a small visual error where Twilight’s rope muzzle came off but reappeared in a later scene. They fixed that in the Hub version so it’s on her the whole time.
Of course, the problem with the Hub recordings are the watermarks int he corner which can be distracting especially when they start animating.
I did however, hear that the Netflix version has the best colors, at least compared to iTunes and other distributors.
So now you’re trying to make excuses after you were so strongly arguing against posting copyrighted material before. That’s a bit hypocritical.
Fair use went out the window when we decided to post thousands of animated clips directly from the show.
Though it’s worth noting that because iTunes episode uploads happened so quickly during Season 3, oftentimes the season 3 episodes would have really poor audio quality on iTunes at first.
…Speaking of which, for some reason, on the Netflix Instant release of season 3, Games Ponies Play seems to have poorer audio quality than the rest of the season. Everything sounds like it has a bit of an echo. Or something. I’m not entirely sure how to describe it, but there’s definitely something weird about it.
This sucks big time…
Yeah, guess I shouldve meant “original cartoon programs” because they have their family game programs and reruns of popular movies and etc.
I remember in S3 that the iTunes episodes would be released a couple hours after the episodes air on the Hub. And I liked that.
Now, iTunes, Google play, and so on release their episodes two days later.

For me, living in SE Asia, it’s friggin’ 4 PM on Monday before I can see the episode, which means I have to avoid anything FiM related for two days so I wont get spoiled.
Maybe it’s iTunes’ fault but i’m not sure… I mean, there’s other cartoons where they release the episodes at least one day later like Wander Over Yonder. I dont know why FiM has to be two days.
It sounds like The Hub either wants to be as safe as possible to prevent a leak like in S3 by pushingt the online release date farther away or maybe they rerun FiM on Sunday and want more ratings on television. Maybe im wrong about Sunday TV reairings. Am I? (Dont own the Hub)
I wouldn’t say it’s surviving solely on FiM, I know a number of people hat watch it for Hub Primetime, you know the older shows from the 80s and early 90s.
