Well, when you consider that the poor ponies back then couldn’t turn around without confronting yet another mad tyrant or eldritch abomination that wanted to kill/enslave them all…
Seeing G1 MLP ‘n Friends’ Dream Valley as ‘dangerous crazy barbaric ancient Equestria’ is interesting.
I figure that the current show is the future of old G1 (note, purely my opinion), so I’d like to think that humans or their descendants are around somewhere even if we never see them.
That or when Discord showed up they all hightailed it to another dimension and let the ponies deal with Mister Chaos.
It’s the funniest running gag about the ‘merry’ men I know of.
I saw it. Robin Hood was cool, but yeah, a bit of a cry-baby.
In the next scene, Robin Hood says ‘you’ll get the hang of it’…. and then he misses… and has an emotional breakdown.
Merry Man: “Oh my god North Star, you suck.”
Other merry man notices The Sherrif and his band approaching: Oh no….North Star you suck. arrows hit around them “Oh shit yeah, the Sheriffs here.”
{Sorry, I had to do a None Piece quote…Now that I think of it, g1 is about as random as Purpleeyeswtf’s stuff…I wonder what he’d do with it.}
And it’s actually neat to see actual humans interact with the ponies…It kind of makes me wonder if the world of Equestria has humans. {Yeah, Equestria Girls makes this unlikely and the writers will probably never put in humans, but a guy can think it.}
Nah, a critical failure would be North Star shooting herself.
