I don’t know why Shining wasn’t in the movie. Apparently, the reason is because they thought kids would mix him and Flash up.
Except that Shining’s a white unicorn, and Flash is a yellow-orange pegasus…I’m PRETTY sure kids aren’t that stupid.
To be fair, Flash was shoved onto us as a love interest stand-in because he’s the type corporate execs think girls look at as “cool”. Haven’t seen EQG, so I don’t know what role (if any) he plays in it (other than as something for Twilight to “fall for”), but he seems like a superfluous plot point or red herring.
I’ve been saying the same thing. But for once, I’d like to see a picture with Shining, Flash and Twilight looking happy.
