It's a cartoon show!
Q: So what exactly is the goal here? Like, if you want 500 dollars, we’ll just GIVE it to you.
A: This isn’t really about the money. My goal is to try and win this contest by the most preposterous, overwhelming, and absolutely excessive margin imaginable and strike fear in the hearts of my opponents. And possibly draw attention to Prequel when people try to figure out how/why I did it.

Hrm… I can kinda see the spirit of Kazerad’s plan which is trying to help him break into some more pony stuff and give the webcomic readers though (Which is a better-than-okay webcomic especially if you like Elder Scrolls mythos) a treat for doing so.
 
But going about it like this is just… not very honest and competitive. Could have just gone “Oh hey I made a shirt design! Tell me what you think and vote here and here’s how!” instead of “Everyone vote five and help me win and I reward you!”
