It’s so weird that so many people don’t realize that Misty was supposed to be the main focus on Make Your Mark!
It’s even in its name: it’s about Misty getting her mark!
Also, people don’t seem to realize that G5 is NOT the same like G4 (for most seasons).
G5 is about focus on ALL the Main cast, not just a single protagonist like it was with Twilight Sparkle in G4.

I agree! Sunny will always support Misty not be jealous of her. Plus Sunny still really shined in the movie!
Misty is my favourite pony but Sunny is my second favourite. I love them and they will always BOTH shine! Freinds stick together!

Ironically this is the chapter I’d say Sunny actually starts behaving more like a lead protagonist with helping Zipp find answers.

What pisses me off the most is not only they took the spotlight away from Sunny (you know, the ACTUAL main protagonist of G5!), but they pretty much relegated her from a character to a plot device who’s only there to pull her out alicorn powers whenever a mess needs cleaning up. The fight against Opaline, the attack of the troggles, the moon festival…
