Heck, I’ve done this so many times I don’t know how I’m still not banned yet, so I just keep doing. I don’t get why I still haven’t be banned myself.

I’m exactly like Discord, continuously causing chaos and messing with others and never suffering any consequences which enables me to keep doing it. If people really like Discord so much, why do they have problems with me? XD

Of course it is related. Discord deserves to be dissed by me anywhere I go. I can’t get on board with Discord’s redemption either because he never really redeemed to begin with. I will continue to troll Discord fans as long as people continue to defend him. Please continue feeding me. :V

Its ok for people to dislike starlight, being nice doesn’t equal better character its why flash doesn’t really have fans. I don’t care how nice starlight is because she feels like a non canon character i can’t get on board with her redemption because she should have literally never became a villain because one friend left in the first place so she makes absolutely no sense. To me starlight is a fine as a supporting character nothing more, discord i preferred as a villain because he was a lot cooler instead of being a hero with a f in good which is a trope of a character who wants to be good but struggles to be so but neither is a bad character. Shes a fictional character its not cruel to dislike her someone can dislike fluttershy because they feel she isn’t well written its a opinion if u keep saying u dislike discord when its unrelated, people can dislike starlight on a post about starlight as a character SIMPLE

I never said I was serious. I’m just having fun hating on a fictional character. And I mean speaking of seriousness, maybe spell “despicable” correctly. Starlight has done mistakes and misjudged her actions, while Discord actively attacks others and knows he would make them feel terrible. Starlight learns from things she has done and tries to be the best can be, responsible and helpful, while Discord constantly comes back to mess something up, manipulates others to fit what he wants, and lies behind the backs of those who care for him. Discord literally only has done like, two good things. It’s not fallacy if it’s based on canon. Discord almost doomed the world twice after reformation while Starlight saved the world twice, so of course Discord deserves bashing while Starlight doesn’t.

Plus Discord has hurt Fluttershy too many times and I have never seen Starlight does anything bad to her. Starlight takes very good care of Fluttershy in fact.

No one paints Starlight Glimmer innocent here. We are talking about how she was evil then managed to work to be a better pony.

Right… How I said, I don’t really care, Discord and Starlight, both for me are despreciable beings. And I don’t recommend you to use memes in your arguments, you lost seriousness and credibility. And Starlight has done many terrible things too, don’t try to use the fallacy of false equivalency to try to make Starlight innocent in front of Discord who, supposedly deserves the bashing from the fandom, while Starlight don’t.

If you feel like you’re losing control, try to calm down. When we are angry, usually we fall into fallacies under the debates. Trust me, I know it for experience.

Purely because Starlight is a better character than Discord and one deserves bashing more than the other. I mean I’ve never seen anyone try to argue with me about Discord to the point I can’t argue back anymore. It’s always “He’s trying to be better.”, “He’s the lord of chaos so killing people is okay for him.”, or “He has good intentions.” It proves that Discord literally has less good qualities that defending him is nearly impossible. It’s his nature to cause chaos and harms so it’s also his nature to be criticized and punished. That’s who he is. He has done so many terrible things he deserves to be judged. Starlight Glimmer is an upstanding good pony that deserves comfort and love because she tries very hard.

Bashing and hating on Starlight is cruel and an injustice. Criticizing and judging Discord is right and natural. It’s all based on canon.

Or like I said before, admit Discord is just Fluttershy’s pet, then I’ll shut up. Discord is just a little pet who misbehaves a lot.

I hate both to be honest. So, seeing this whole bunch of arguments against both is entertainment, but certanly, I agree with you about the point of beign not hypocrite. If you enjoy bashing a character, then don’t cry when people spit against your favorite character, because if in the first place you’re in favour of bashing characters, then you’re not invulnerable to that idea. And the infinite text trying to defend her is not excuse to stop people of disliking Starlight or any other character.

Okay, I myself will try to stop being annoyed by people bashing my favorite characters from now on, but I just wanted to tell you one thing: If you enjoy bashing Discord so much and won’t stop doing it, then maybe you should tolerate people bashing Starlight. Now I don’t hate Starlight at all, but I’m just saying that you should let people bash her if they want to since you think there’s nothing wrong with bashing Discord.

Yes, chaos involves “putting a bunch of innocent children in danger” and “insulting the one gal trying to keep them safe”. That’s chaotic, chaotic evil obviously. It makes sense for such a dangerous creature to do dangerous things, while a simple unicorn to make mistakes and have emotional outbursts. So I guess you’re just proving my point Starlight is indeed the better creature because she is born humane while Discord is born dangerous.

What you’re saying is Discord’s mere existence is dangerous and turning him into stone is definitely the right choice because his nature is just a mistake. And Discord himself has the ability to be better since he was able to be reformed and afraid to be alone, but well, when he made a point that he wanted to capture Tirek for Fluttershy, he betrayed Fluttershy and threw her hug right in her face. When everypony, including Fluttershy, was absolutely saddened over him being hurt by King Sombra, he threw their concern right at their faces being like “Oh so I faked my injury all for nothing. All your tears mean nothing to me because my master plan didn’t work.” He knows exactly how emotions work and he uses them like toys. And then when he does all the worst things, he paints it as some sort of righteous thing that he does to teach something.
“I gaslight Twilight so her friends would ignore her. It would prove that Princess Twilight can be jealous even though I specifically orchestrated a scenario where she would feel jealous”
“I pretend to be sick and force Twilight to give up her chance to spend with her sister-in-law. It proves that she cares about a friend who lies to her.”
“I pretend to be injured so they would be motivated to defeat Sombra, and then I’ll just reveal that fact right at their faces so all their emotions for me were for null.”
“I literally make a bugbear attack students and calls her incompetent right at her face. It’ll teach her how to handle stress and how she isn’t really to take care of the school. Not like attacking me was the natural reaction. Would you punch a person who tries to hurt your children?”
“I let 3 dangerous villains go free and destroy the world and tell the people who are trying to protect this nation that this is all a test even though I should have kept them in check in the first place.”
At least when Starlight does something wrong, she doesn’t go “Yeah well, I control your minds to see if you’re strong enough to resist my magic.” She actually apologizes and knows when her actions are stupid. Discord can’t even say a “sorry” when he almost killed Spike and Big Mac.

Saying Starlight shouldn’t be bad in the first place because of Discord’s nature just further cements that idea of “the privileged VS the hardworking” double standard that I’m saying as a joke. Because Discord is the literal god and has all the power in the world, he gets to do whatever he wants. While Starlight is a normal little pony so she isn’t allowed to have misjudged actions based on emotions and minor setbacks and deserves all that hate. Apparently in the world of friendship, powers and status mean so much more than actual compassion and modesty. They are the same characters. They both were reformed to be one of the major characters. They’re both way too strong or clever to be defeated. They both had to learn many times to care for others and not go back to their old ways. Their differences are that Starlight actually learned and improved while Discord constantly relapses. One is always excused because of his nature even though he tried to kill people in multiple occasions, the other gets way too much hate for some misjudgments that she always makes up for. And if Discord is getting so much leeway for never actually changing, all the hate for Starlight Glimmer should be all wiped out because she legit improved and became better.

Discord is literal chaos and disharmony he has more to work with everyone changed differently and yes at first he was released to be used as a tool but hes friends now with them and friendship isn’t just about how useful. Discord is trying to be better so they aren’t gonna give up on him
If u don’t get that u missed the point the themes of the show. I don’t even dislike starlight I dislike comparing two very different characters, who have very different purposes in the story. Lets stick to starlight and sprout who have more in common
